Todd Halbur is a fifth generation Iowan that grew up in Carroll, Iowa.

The city of Halbur is named after Todd’s great-great uncle Anton Halbur, a German immigrant. He and his wife Diane have been married for 28 years and have two sons, Jack, and Ben. He has been a Clive resident in Dallas County for the past 22 years.

Todd graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in business. He has over 15 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. He has had firsthand experience with the State of Iowa’s budget, finance, and procurement systems as the former CFO of the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division. Todd is also currently a licensed real estate agent and he and Diane have owned a successful small business for over 20 years.
